David Daniel is currently President, Bioniche Global Development, LLC, Executive Advisor, Signant Health, and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at George Washington University. He founded and was Principal of Neuropsychiatric Services of Greater Washington, which was acquired by Clinical Studies, Ltd (CSL) in 1997.

He served as Director of Clinical Trials of the Stanley Medical from 2001-2004 and was a founding Principal of Best Practices, LLC.

He founded and was Principal of Global Learning, LLC, which was acquired by United BioSource Corporation in 2006.

He served as Senior Vice President of United BioSource Corporation and its successors (by serial acquisition), Bracket Global, LLC and Signant Health, from 2006-2023. Concurrently with his role as SVP, he served as Chief Medical Director (2006-2012) and Chief Medical Officer (2013-2022).

Dr. Daniel graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from Emory University and obtained his medical school and psychiatry post-graduate training at Vanderbilt University, where he served as Chief Resident.

He was a senior staff fellow within the intramural program of the National Institute of Mental Health (DIRP, NIMH), Lieutenant Commander (temp) in the PHS, and Medical Director of the NIMH Neuropsychiatric Research Hospital at St. Elizabeths in Washington, DC.

He has published numerous scientific articles involving clinical trials and investigations of the psychopathology of mental illness, especially in schizophrenia and has received patent protection for new treatment approaches in epilepsy, anxiety disorders and psychotic disorders.

Dr. Daniel is a recipient of the Clinical Faculty Award at George Washington University, the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill Exemplary Psychiatrist Award, the International Society for Clinical Drug Development (ISCDD) Scientific Leadership Award, and the PharmaVOICE Top 100 Inspiring People in Life Sciences Award.

He is Co-Director of David Gordon Louis Daniel Foundation (DGLD Foundation).

He is the author of the Novel: “A Life Twice Given”, 2016, Berwick Court
“A Life Twice Given” was adapted for the stage in 2018 by Gail Louw and funded by the UK Arts Council for production and tour of 5 UK venues in October, 2019

“Storming!”, Gail Louw’s stage sequel to “A Life Twice Given” will run in London in February 20-24, 2024.
